At Agrosuper, we continuously explore alternatives to improve energy efficiency in all our process stages. This includes implementing technologies and practices that help us optimize our energy consumption and reduce our environmental impact.

With the installation of 412 solar panels with 560 WP (WP is a unit of photovoltaic power), Agrosuper’s commercial office in the district municipality of Hijuelas became the company’s first sustainable branch. The initiative was implemented through an agreement with the energy services company Flux Solar (a subsidiary of Copec), which allows the branch to supply itself with clean energy during the day, producing more than 335 megawatt-hours (MWh) per year, equivalent to the reduction of 181 tons of CO2 per year and/or planting 4,720 trees.
